LET’S US UPDATE

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that in December 2023, 1001fontaines decided to close its operations in Myanmar. Launched in 2019, our project aimed to provide safe drinking water in a sustainable way, but the health crisis and local political developments hampered our efforts to make our project sustainable. The four operational Waters Kiosks have been transferred to local communities and 1001fontaines remains available for remote support to populations.

We sincerely thank our partners for their continued support and will not hesitate to reconsider this decision should the situation improve.
